Yea, yea, I wasn't being aggressive at all, and i didn't make you laugh, so stop making stuff up. You just love a ruck on here.

As for reminding you, lol, mate you really aren't important, now I'm laughing.

Now off you go and have the last word as usual.

Re: Declan Rice
Manuel,

Your reaction didn’t upset me. It made me laugh at how aggressive you sounded over someone having a discussion about football giving an opinion about another club.

I will repeat what I said. I think Arsenal will struggle to get into the top 4 next season.

They might end up in 4th place but it will be a struggle but they won’t be anywhere near challenging for the title like last season. Time will tell and I’m happy for you to remind me next season.

Now go and chill Manny. It’s just an opinion about Football. Not a politics thread!

Re: Declan Rice
Swindon - I know it was your opinion and I was reacting to your opinion by saying that imo it's lazy and unfounded, and even went on to explain why, i.e apart from City who else is guaranteed top 4 next year? so it was a bit of a silly opinion, since Rice isn't joining City. If my reaction to your opinion upset you, then I think it's you that needs to chill, fella.

If Arsenal drop from 2nd to 5th AFTER signing Rice, he wouldn't have had much of an impact there.

Tell you what's amazing is that when Eerie Descent's WRONG... he's somehow makes it that someone else is a pedant CUNT for proving him wrong therefore turning the tables... quite brilliant... it's the keyboard warrior equiv' of Ginger Bob taking on 250 and petrol bombs being lobbed... bravo

Re: Declan Rice
Not sure why Chelsea have been ruled out. Decent manager, owner who is willing to spend big, still in London. If it was success they are after I'd say they are a safer long-term bet than Arsenal who just seem to be building around a manager who could get fired after a poor run.

Man Utd could also be a good bet for him. Manager is a decent one and you have to think new owners are going to look to support him.

If he's after a spot to win things in his career Arsenal seems just about the weakest bet that being talked about.

Once he has gone, that’s it, players are throw away theses days, if you think I’m clapping him in an Arsenal shirt…. Only for England.

Re: Declan Rice
Manuel,

It’s called having a discussion. This is a forum talking about mainly football and our best player is being linked with other clubs and we are discussing it.

As for the “lazy speculation” about Arsenal dropping out of the top 4, it’s purely my opinion and a prediction. Nothing more.

Chill Manny!

I give a fuck, if he goes we could well be releagtion fodder at worst, at best we've taken a big step back from finishing 6th.

''I doubt anyone is concerned about Rice. At the end of the day once he leaves West Ham it isn’t our problem.''

Agreed, so why so many posts about his possible next club and what he may or may not win then if nobody gives a fuck? I would say some seem very concerned.

As for Arsenal dropping outside the top 4 that is pure, lazy speculation at best, City aside from City you wouldn't hang your hat on anyone finishing in the top 4, no?

I doubt anyone is concerned about Rice. At the end of the day once he leaves West Ham it isn’t our problem.

I’m no expert on Arsenal or have a crystal ball but I think they will struggle to get into the top 4 next season but time will tell.

Re: Declan Rice
Arsenal’s success this season was really down to Odegaard. Take him out of the side and they are pretty ordinary. Even if they keep him, with CL next season I don’t see them challenging for the title again.

If I was Rice I’d be looking abroad, if Man City weren’t interested.

Manuel 5:55 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
A lot of Arsenal experts, and those with a crystal ball on here I see, and all know what's best for Rice, which is quite amusing. As said, if he's not joining City, which he won't be as Pep has no interest, then you may as well toss a coin with the also ran's.

He's joining a huge club and staying in London, but I'm sure he appreciates the concern :-)

Re: Declan Rice
I can recall a lot of people getting sniffy about Man City. When they first become minted. What was it Fergie said. “They are just noisy neighbours.!”
Empire’s come. Empire’s go. But it always rely on who has the most wedge. If it’s the Saudi state fund. Or Silent Stans shops. I’m putting my bet on the oil money going the distance. Newcastle may not get top four next year. But they ain’t worrying about the TV money.
Declan knows he’s got 2 maybe 3 big contracts in front of him over the course of his career. And may fill Arsenal are the next natural step. But by going there all he is doing is putting himself in the window for the next step up. He may win a Carabo/Fa cup. But he won’t win a title or a champions league there. And I would put money on that.

Eerie Descent 5:07 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
The only club that guarantees trophies in this country at the moment is Man City, and they won't be signing him.

Once Pep goes, the cycle will turn again and someone else will take over. Whilst he's there, no one else is winning that league. Arsenal will win something in the next few years, and will be in the Champions League consistently. It'd be a great move for Rice.

All the top clubs now have loads of money to spend. Fuck me, even we spent £200mil. Newcastle can't break FFP, they won't finish in the top 4 next season.

swindon hammer 4:58 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
Arsenal are a huge club and quite obviously an upgrade on us.

Declan Rice has said he wants to win trophies and in the past 5 seasons Arsenal have won one FA Cup and also haven’t won the league in 19 years so by joining them there is no guarantee he will win much unlike if he went to Man City, Liverpool, Bayern Munich etc.

I think due to them coming off having a good league season there might be a feeling from those within the Arsenal camp and maybe Rice as well that they might go one better next season when it reality for a lot of us looking in as neutrals we think it might be a one off and they will struggle just to get into the top 4 next season.

Eerie Descent 4:57 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
"The past is largely irrelevant"

How about the present, where they got 13 more points and scored 20 more goals than Newcastle in the league?

Eerie Descent 4:56 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
I knew the pedant would be out over that. Go on, give us that situation in 1906 when something happened over some sort of technicality or whatever.

Just so you don't shit your incontinence pants Surface, you old embittered pedant cuntbag, I'll look it up myself.

What good are unlimited funds to Newcastle if they can't spend them? They've got Dan Burn at left back, I'll have a bet with anyone, money to charity, that they won't finish top 4 next season.

legrandefromage 4:47 Tue Jun 6
Re: Declan Rice
The past is largely irrelevant. The reason that Newcastle look a more likely long term bet is that they have potential access to unlimited funding. I'm not sure Arsenal have that at the moment.
